Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medigap?

Medicare Advantage (Part C) replaces Original Medicare with a private plan that usually includes drug, dental, and vision benefits, often at $0 premium, but uses a provider network. Medigap works alongside Original Medicare, lets you see any doctor who accepts Medicare, and has a monthly premium.

Do I need Part D if I do not take medications?

We usually recommend enrolling when first eligible. If you delay and enroll later, Medicare adds a permanent late-enrollment penalty to your premium. Low-cost plans exist for people who take few or no medications.

Can I keep my current doctors?

Before recommending any plan we check that your doctors, specialists, and hospital are in network and that your prescriptions are on the plan's formulary.
